Z Tag Party FAQ
What is Z-Tag?
Z-Tag is like laser tag with a twist—you don’t carry a gun or blaster. Instead, every player wears a lightweight wristband (we call them “ZTaggers”) that lights up, vibrates, and keeps score. It’s action-packed, super interactive, and perfect for kids who want to run around without bulky gear.
How does it work?
The wristbands sense when you get close enough to “tag” another player—no aiming required. Each game mode runs a little differently: sometimes you’re avoiding zombies, sometimes you’re racing to complete patterns, sometimes you’re just trying to survive the countdown! Everything stays synced through our command center so the games flow smoothly.
Is Z-Tag safe?
Absolutely. There are no darts, no lasers, and no heavy equipment to lug around—just a comfy wristband. Our staff goes over the rules, explains how to play, and keeps an eye on the action so everyone has fun and stays safe.
What game modes are available?
This is where it gets really fun—Z-Tag comes loaded with different ways to play. Kids love Zombie Survival, Red Light/Green Light, Pattern Match, and even Rock-Paper-Scissors Tag. We mix it up to match the age group and keep everyone engaged the whole time.
How many players can play at once?
We can run games with up to 20+ players at a time, which makes it awesome for birthdays, schools, or camps. If you’ve got an even bigger group, no worries—we rotate players in and out so everyone gets plenty of turns.
What space or setup is required?
All we really need is an open space—indoors or outdoors—where kids can run safely. A backyard, park, schoolyard, or gym all work great. We’ll arrive about 30 minutes early to set everything up, and once the games start, we handle the rest.
